I am surprised at how few photos we took while at the beach. Must have had something to do with the poopy weather we had the first 2 days we were there. I wish we'd taken photos of the kids pouting over mini-golf on Thursday, but it was drizzling that day and so we didn't take the camera along. Then on Friday, The Daughter and Middle Child were with friends in our old neighborhood, and we planned to go back to the hotel to get the camera before meeting up with friends for dinner, but we ran out of time.
So, the following are from Saturday and Sunday morning.
Our room was on the 17th floor. Rob and I stayed at this same hotel last year, but I can't remember if it was the same floor or not. What you can't see in this photo is my extreme fear of heights. Especially at night. Rob and I sat on the balcony the evening before talking, and I finally couldn't take it any longer and dove into the room after about 20 minutes. Rob thinks it's hilarious. I just about break into cold sweats thinking about being up that high (yeah, yeah, I have issues).
I really like the last photo (taken by The Daughter), though it almost looks like Rob is trying to get away. He had his other arm around me. And this was just one of about 10 shots, as we tried to get the flash setting correct.
For those of you in my neighborhood, stay tuned; I will be posting photos of the kiddos later today.
