Took this picture on her 63rd birthday. The last birthday she had.

My heart still breaks every time I see this picture. I took this picture secretly with my camphone on Thursday - December 01, 2005. In about 15 hours after I took this picture, she passed away...

This banner I dedicate for my Mother and Mother's Day. Will put it off tomorrow morning. These pictures were taken in a photo booth of Somerset MRT Station - Singapore, in 1994. She's not fat in this picture, but her face was swollen from the medicine she took. She'd had a fight against Lupus since 1990 and lost the battle in 2005. What a warrior queen, eh? :)

Your mom is beautiful, and I'm sorry for the sadness of not having her here today. It sounds like you have many wonderful and cherished memories.

Trus diajak jalan2 ke mall dan pernah waktu nginep dirmh lama lo, dia lagi buat kue, dikasih loh! baikkkkk banget!

Thanks! I just wish that we could spend more time together, but anyway someday I will meet her again - it soothes my pain :)

I am sorry about your mom. I can relate because my mom passed away in 2001 on the day before her 65th birthday. Our mom's passed away at similiar ages.

Oh. It's on her birthday's eve? My Mom was 63 when she passed away, 2 years younger than your Mom (born in 1942, died in 2005). Maybe they're friends now :) Who knows? Hehe.

What a beautiful woman. that photo of her in her hospital bed brings a tear to my eye. Kasihan, Connie. My dad was also 63 when he passed away (in 2001).

She's a warrior, Cath. And someday I will meet her again :) How old is your Mom today? Mine is 17 years younger than Dad LOL Dad really rocked the craddle. Hahaha!

Thanks :) I still meet her though every day in my dreams. I guess she misses me more than I miss her since I can't come into her dreams, but she can. Hehe.
