Uploaded a few more shots from yesterday's outing...sorry, though, I want to fiddle with the rest! I'll probably go back and fiddle with these too...but you're getting the "just cropped" versions here.
The Talbot Islands are wild and wonderful places. I'm looking forward to going back to Big Talbot in particular as there were so few people there. I want to go either very early or very late in the day next time though as the light wasn't the best for these shots.
Live and learn though, eh? Still had fun.
Today's promising to be a much clearer sky so I have to finish this coffee and decide on a place to visit. I was reading a little through the manual last night and I think I want to play more with focusing and DoF. Maybe I'll try to find a butterfly garden or botanical or some such thing.
One thing I forgot to tell you that I found pretty funny - as I was walking back from the Cliffs area of Big Talbot I ran into another photographer who had a Pentax K10D! (The big one - the one I wanted but couldn't quite afford this go round.) So now I've met the other Pentax owner in Florida. :p
I was more than a little obsessed with all the driftwood, as you can see from the pics! Haha it's just that it's rare to see around here - all the public beaches are clear of it. There was tons on Big and Little Talbot both.
Ok, I should get it in gear here before I miss the best light. Hope you're having a great weekend!
